There should be three documentation files distributed with Desk Pattern: About Desk Pattern, which gives general usage information; Managing Patterns, which details techniques for mnaging colour patterns effectively; and Technical/Distribution Info, which details technical information and restrictions on distribution of patterns created with Desk Pattern (there are no such restrictions on Desk Pattern itself, other than basic copyrights being held on it). Please look over all three files so that you can use this Control Panel device properly. You should also have a file called Desk Patterns and several large file full of colour desktop patterns. I have included over 200 patterns with Desk Pattern. Three choice patterns are included in the file 'Desk Patterns' and the others can be installed as desired (see the files 'Managing Patterns' and 'About Tile/Square Patterns'). I have also previously released a file of 8 bit (256 colour) desktop patterns, which can be installed in the Desk Patterns file, and will work fine with Desk Pattern (though 32 bit patterns look nicer, they also take up to four times as much space when unstuffed).
